FIRST ISSUE OUT NOW!

The city of Plymouth has become a hub for artists, designers and creativity. This first issue of MishMash is a glimpse into the hearts and minds of Plymouth's established and emerging creatives. Giving them a space to talk about their work and for us to peak behind the curtain to explore the inner workings of the creative mind and learn about their processes and get inspired.

In this first issue we talk to Sue Lewry about her artist practice and passion she has for sharing creativity, also to the phenomenal textile artist Becky Dobman-Wainright about her unique tea reading and tapestry making. Among many other emerging creatives in the city! We can't wait for you to dive in!

About MishMash

Founded by Zara Lily McDermott and Tom Pope. The magzine was created out of a desire to delve into the creative process and celebrate all areas of the arts in one place, featuring interviews with creatives from photography, game arts, textiles, illustration and more. In a time where finals products take centre stage and we navigate the growing presence of AI - Zara and Tom have created a space which highlights the unique voices of local creatives. Mishmash is dedicated to showcasing the talent and originality within our community, while exploring the magic of human creativity in all its forms.
